Production and storage capacities

In Switzerland alone, our production area is 1050 m² and our storage area is 1300 m². Worldwide, the HOWAG Group has a production area of around 6000 m2. The total storage area covers around 3000 m2.

For the production of ESD-sensitive products, we have a dissipative flooring covering a total area of 500 m2.

Dehumidifying system

Dehumidifying system

To protect our valuable components from corrosion, our warehouses are equipped with state-of-the-art dehumidification systems. These systems maintain a relative humidity level between 40% and 60%.

Injection moulding machines

Injection moulding machines

We offer precise overmolding of connectors and other components exactly to your individual needs and requirements. Our machinery includes high-quality injection molding machines from renowned manufacturers such as Arburg, Tayu, and Werner Wirth.

Crimping and stripping machines

Crimping and stripping machines

Our well-proven fully automatic crimping machine is capable of handling delicate cable materials with care. This system is also versatile in its applications, allowing us to meet various customer needs flawlessly at any time. In addition to our optimally equipped production facilities, we also have semi-automatic crimping and stripping machines. These machines multiply our capabilities and enhance the proverbial flexibility of HOWAG.

Thermal devices

To ensure that our spiral cables always maintain their shape, we utilize modern high-performance ovens. They are well-equipped even for heat treatments of up to 400°C.

Cable processing centre

Cable processing centre

For modern and high-quality cable processing, we utilize roller racks with over 100 storage positions in fully equipped processing centers. This allows even the smallest batch sizes down to individual cables to be processed efficiently and economically. The interaction of roller storage, traversing platform, and cable ring winder provides significant advantages in our cable processing.
