This device is used to measure the maximum expansion and retraction cycles of a spiral cable.

Bending tester

Bending tester

This is used to measure the bending cycles of a cable or stranded wire until an electrical interruption occurs with the sample.

It concerns contacts that are crimped with electrical conductors. Microscope images of their interface are created to recognise whether the respective pressing is perfect and therefore gas-tight. The crimping must be carried out to the correct degree: Pressing too tightly or too little is considered faulty.

They test the dielectric strength of the insulation of electrical conductors up to 1.5 KV.

In addition to electrical conductors, certain cables contain so-called capillaries. These are tubes for transporting air or liquid in the cable. The flow meter measures the flow rate of such a capillary.
